But I do love to eat!! And I am so proud of my mommy for not giving up on the breastfeeding when she had an infection and blocked milk ducts. Good work, mama!

Hello World!

Here is a picture of me on my mama's birthday! I couldn't find a picture that accurately captured my mother's radiant beauty on her special day, so I included one of my sister eating fruit salad and cream. When you are older, like my mom, you have fruit salad on your birthday. But you should see her, she looks really good for just giving birth!!

Hello World!

My name is Starla Grace Halo Karlsson, and I was born on March 23, 2009. Welcome to my blog!

In this blog my mom is going to attempt to post something from everyday of the first year of my life. Unfortunately she has already missed a couple of days but I can't really blame her considering that she has been battling with breastfeeding and taking care of me and my sister. Luckily she has my dad to support her and help her. He is the coolest.

My Grandfather, Allan Mac Killop, sent the following email to my parents on the day that I arrived. These picture were taken just moments after I was born. I think it is so awesome that my papa cut my umbilical cord, and the midwives that delivered me were so kind to mommy!
